The original Grex power supply should be labeled as
OUTPUT:
9V 100mA
Although any power supply with 7-12V output and correct polarity (plus inside) is good for Grex.

Hi. Yes it can be done but it is not implemented in API yet. The reason is that this feature is potentially dangerous as GPIO persistently configured as OUTPUT can be connected by mistake to OUTPUT or GND on some target and cause to short.
