Windows 8/10 64-bit : digital signature issue

Post by serg »

During driver installation Windows 8/10 reports the following error "The third party INF doesn't contain digital signature information"

The easiest way to resolve the Windows 8/10 digital signature installation issue is to update the SUB-20 firmware to version 0.4.2+. SUB-20 with firmware 0.4.2+ doesn't require SUB-20 USB driver installation. The firmware v0.4.2 is part of the SUB-20-151016 software support package, available for download on our website http://www.xdimax.net/download/SUB-20-151016.exe. Of course, to update the firmware you will need a system where SUB-20 is recognized i.e. the SUB-20 driver is preinstalled. If you don't have such a system, there is another way to go - temporarily disable the "windows signature enforcement". Please look here for details http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NM1MN8QZhnk. After the driver is installed and SUB-20 can be recognized by the system, don't forget to update the SUB-20 firmware to version 0.4.2+, so the board can be recognized on other win7/8/10 with no SUB-20 USB driver preinstalled.
