Vhs Problem

i am getting weird flash on a vhs i am trying to dub to dvd?
i know the grex is hooked up right
it glitches like that every 45 seconds or so

not as great as i thought this would be other than working with protected tv and or streaming services
it does not give a very good result when it comes to vhs with the picture flashing all the time or glitching
and it is not my setup i have a very expensive(given to me cause a tv station upgraded equipment to dvd only)barely used pro. Vcr Player
